Here is the part we cut at the Okuma Tech Center @ Morris Midwest:

I don’t have all the details, but this is a very fast feed rate and a very heavy depth of cut with standard tooling in tool steel. Much faster than traditional toolpaths. Please contact us if you have more questions on how to use these new toolpaths and how they can save your business enough time to pay for the software many times over.

We have had a good amount of customers asking us what they can and cannot translate via Mastercam.  If you are unable to translate a file, most likely you need to update your version of Mastercam.  If you are a current maintenance customer, please visit the download section of our website to obtain the latest version.  Customers that are not on maintenance please contact Matt to update to the current release (X4 MU3). Please see the image below.

You may notice that Catia, Unigraphics, and ProE are not included on this list.  We are able to translate these files natively, but those products charge a licensing fee for the translator.  Please contact sales to purchase a translator.
