The training facility has 9 computers for a class limited to 9 students. The instructor has a projection system on his computer to display his screen onto the wall in front of the students. Class hours are from 8:30am to 4:30pm each day.
Some classes fill up quickly. So please reserve a seat as soon as possible. Class availability is on a first come, first served basis. So you may be scheduled into the next months class. Someone will contact you to confirm your reservation within 2 business days. If you are not contacted please call the number shown above. Please read our Enrollment & Cancellation Policy shown below.
INTRODUCTION TO MASTERCAM Version X
2 Days / $600.00 This class is required for all Mastercam users and covers all aspects of operation, system orientation, operator interface, configuration, 2D geometry construction, and dimensioning. In this class the student will draw several parts from existing prints. The student will also dimension a print and learn how to convert CAD files. This is also the class we recommend for Students coming from Version 9 for the smoothest transtion into X.
BASIC MILL Version X
2 Days / $600.00
This class is intended for new Mastercam users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam. Topics covered include tool and material libraries, 2-1/2 axis (Mill Level 1) machining functions including contouring, pocketing, drilling, c-hooks, customization, and verification.
ADVANCED DESIGN Version X
2 Days / $600.00
This class is intended for Mastercam users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam. Items covered include 3D wire framing, 3D surface modeling including net surfaces, coons surfaces, drafted surfaces, parting lines, surface curves, blending surfaces, splines, and more with a focus on how it applies to molds, patterns, and prototyping (Mill Level 2 & 3 functions).
ADVANCED MILL Version X
2 Days / $600.00
This class is intended for Mastercam users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam, Basic Mill & Advanced Design. All aspects of 3D surface machining are covered. This includes 3D roughing routines parallel, radial, plunge, pocket, restmill, project, contour, and flowline, All aspects of 3D surface finishing are covered including flowline, leftover, contour, high speed, pencil trace, slope analysis, scallop, and blended. The HST toolpalths with all be introduced.
LATHE Version X
2 Days / $600.00
This class is intended for Mastercam Lathe users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam. Items covered include roughing, finishing, facing, grooving, threading, drilling, configuration, tool and material libraries, and parting.
ADVANCED LATHE Version X
1 Day / $350.00
This class is intended for Mastercam users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam and Mastercam Lathe. All aspects of live tooling, Y axis milling, C-axis milling, Misc. Ops, sub-spindle programming, stock transfer, and 4 axis turning are covered.
WIRE EDM Version X
1 Day / $350.00
This class is intended for Mastercam Wire users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam. Items covered include 2 axis, 4 axis, wire libraries, taper cutting, chaining options, and all other wire edm specific functions.
POSTPROCESSORS Version X
1 Day / $400.00
This class is intended for Mastercam users who understand Mastercam, G-Code programming, and have some knowledge of a higher level programming language. This class covers all aspects of basic post configuration. Start of file, Tool change & End of file. Variable defintions, formatting, post lines, boolean operations, customizing text, adding user prompts, and more. Experience with other post processors and/or programming languages would be helpful.
SOLIDS Version X
1 Day / $350.00
This class is intended for Mastercam users who have completed Introduction to Mastercam. Solids class covers all aspects of solid modeling. Topics include creating solids using extrude, revolve, loft, swept, and filleting. Model editing using Solids Manager is covered in detail as well as using boolean operations to create complex solids.

Payment:
Due to the high demand for training, advanced payment is required for enrollment and to secure a reserved seat for class.
Enrollment & Cancellation Policy:
You must register before attending a class. All training classes are on a "first come, first served" basis for enrollment. Class enrollment is not confirmed until ShopWare receives payment in full for the student. Due to the high demand for training, customer scheduling requirments and class size limitations, cancelations less than 14 days prior to training are not refundable. Only if registration is canceled, in writing by fax or email, 2 weeks before the scheduled class date, will payment be refunded. Training vouchers & Training "packages" are treated as currency, and forfited for cancellations less than the 14 day time period. Training "packages" must be used within 1 year of the date issued or purchased. A minimum of six students are required for class. If there are less than six students registered, ShopWare Incorporated reserves the right to reschedule the class to a later date.
