Maintenance Program
As a Mastercam customer, you know that Mastercam is an integral part of your manufacturing operation. You need to maintain your software and protect your investment. Like all software companies, Mastercam will not continue to support outdated versions of software. Many of the translators change as well as underlying operating systems. Stay current; make sure you keep your software running and functioning at its best.
Ongoing Support
Only those customers on maintenance will receive ongoing support from our highly trained, experienced veteran Applications Engineers. Shopware’s seventeen years as the leading CAM software provider to manufacturers’ means you continue to get the best service and support in the industry.
Post Processors
Post Processor support is included with your maintenance. Shopware has post processors available for over 5,000 machine tools. New piece of equipment? Call us for a working post processor to quickly and easily integrate it into your operations. As a maintenance customer you get access to our Post Processor Library available from our Post Department. Some machines and 4/5 axis posts will require additional charges.
Major Releases
Major releases are made available to customers with active Maintenance at no additional charge. This year, with the release of X6, major software enhancements such as Feature Based Machining and High Speed Toolpaths improvements were added along with significant speed and performance increases and many other improvements to every product in the Mastercam portfolio. There is one major release scheduled per year and it is included with your maintenance. You will also get access to Mastercam-supplied add-ons.
Maintenance Updates
These include new tools, new options and additions to existing Mastercam features and they address functions requiring changes and are available only to Mastercam Maintenance customers. Maintenance updates are typically scheduled three to four months following a major release. This means you’ll have early access to any brand new features that are pre-released to Maintenance customers and you can download these as soon as they are ready, giving your shop a competitive advantage.

New and enhanced functions are accompanied by digital documentation to help you get up to speed quickly in an easy to read ‘What’s New’ PDF document. You will also receive Mastercam Notes – Customer Newsletter containing tech tips, news you can use, how to’s, plus much more.
