Below you will find our pre-built Dell® PCs that are configured, optimized, and Mastercam pre-installed and tested.

Although Mastercam may function on a PC with lower specs, it is not advised.  PC pricing has become very affordable.  Save yourself some headaches and invest in a reliable system.

General PC Information:

Video Cards, a very important component

There are a number of video cards on the market. Not all offer the same experience. We recommend video cards that utilize the Nvidia graphics chipsets.

Mainstream Cards

(Video cards that you could find at your local electronics store)

Nvidia GeForce cards as follows:

Mill Level 1, Lathe, or Wire EDM:  GT & GTS Series

Mill Level 3, 5-axis:  GTX 6xx Series

Nvidia’s GeForce Product Family

(Note: The GeForce series cards are fine for Mastercam, but are not compatible with Solidworks or other 3D CAD systems)

Nvidia Quadro® Series

Mill Level 1, Lathe, or Wire EDM:  Quadro 600

Mill Level 3, 5-axis:  Quadro 600, 2000, 4000 and up

We do not recommend the Quadro NVS line of graphics cards or any Integrated Graphic Solutions (On-board motherboard Graphics)

Mastercam looks best at a minimum of 1280 x 1024 video resolution.  Widescreen monitors are beneficial and dual monitors are a plus.  Windows 7 64 bit is recommended for use with the latest Mastercam versions.
