Solidworks Founder: ” Finally I understand what the CAM people have been talking about”

Jon Hirschtick, the founder of Solidworks, who runs the Solidworks blog, commented on the Solidworks/Mastercam X5 rollouts held by our fellow Mastercam dealer from New Jersey, Cimquest Inc.

He says in the blog post:

I learned a lot about CAM today. Saw some demos of High Speed Machining. Finally I understand what the CAM people have been talking about. Very cool. With simply upgraded software, machine tools can work approximately twice as fast with better quality parts and lower tool wear.

ShopWare’s First Webinar a Success!

We hosted our first online Webinar this past Friday. We spent over an hour showing users new features in Mastercam X4 to make them more productive and taking questions from the audience. With over 45 attendees, the event was a great success. We plan on doing many more of these in the future.
