There are so many features that you have used for so many years, for instance Hot Keys, Interface, and toolpaths(just to mention a few) and you don’t want these features to change. Yes, the interface is different, but the toolpaths that V9 users are used to are still there–as are the Hot keys and a lot more! Mastercam X was designed to make your job easier with less key strokes and faster processing for toolpaths. We want to make it easier for you to give it a try.

With all the new operating systems (OS) out there it can be confusing which versions of Mastercam will run on what OS.

To inform our Customers who are still on Version 9, you version of Mastercam will no longer be supported with the release of X5 this Summer. Update your system now to protect your investment. For more information please go here: http://www.shopwareinc.com/products/sunset-program/

Version 9 is not compatible with Windows Vista or Windows 7 and will not run on any 64 bit system. Post processors for Version 9 are also no longer supported.
