What is Mastercam Certification™?
The Mastercam Certification program is a rigorous set of practical tests that recognizes a programmer’s knowledge and ability to work effectively with Mastercam CAM software, overcome common issues facing today’s shops, and produce high quality finished parts. It sets the bar to a high standard and ensures that only the very best programmers become Mastercam Certified.

What is Mastercam University?
Mastercam University is online video training that lets you learn at your own pace. Learn all the tips and tricks from an experienced corporate Mastercam trainer. The online Mastercam U classes can be used to prepare you for the official Mastercam Certification or it can also be used solely for supplemental training to keep your skills sharp. This online training is available 24/7, open to anyone, and can be purchased through ShopWare Inc.

Basic Mastercam Mill Certification Test
1 Day / $850.00
The test involves drawing a part from a blueprint in Mastercam. The part is then programed and coded for machining. The part is then set up and machined. All test parts require multiple set ups and at least 6 tools. To receive a Certification Card the following criteria must be met:
1- The part must be modeled within a 2 hour time limit.
2- The part must be programmed wihin a 2 hour time limit.
3- The part must have a run time of no more than 15 minutes.
4- The part must be completely finished within the final 2 hour time limit.
5- The part must be within tolerances as specified on the print.
6- Any broken tools during the machining process will be considered failing.
(Note you can retest at a later date. Standard testing fees apply.)
