Why On-Site Training?

Sometimes our customers find it difficult to get out of their facilities for training.  Other times there may be a large number of employees you’d like to have trained at one time.  ShopWare wants to make your investment in training as easy and as fruitful as possible.  For this reason we are able to send an engineer to your facility for customized on-site training.

ShopWare provides customized training in your facility to suit your specific needs. Your training sessions can be based on any of our standard classes listed on our web site, or we can tailor the training to topics of your choice. You can view our standard class descriptions HERE.

How does the Training Work?

On‐Site Training at your facility is done utilizing your existing computers. ShopWare can
provide the Mastercam software and temporary licenses to load up to a maximum of 6
computers.

Class size is limited to a maximum of six students. Learning Mastercam requires a
“hands‐on approach” and we recommend having a computer for each student.
The instructor will bring his own laptop computer that will connect to your projector. If you do
not have a projector we can bring one if needed.

Your company will need to provide a sufficient number of computers and an area large enough to accommodate the equipment, students, and instructor. It is also common to do one‐on‐one training on a computer near the CNC machine.
